SUSPEKT founded roughly around 1997 in Albertslund, a suburb to Copenhagen, mostly known for its more rugged reputation, rough-raw attitude, underground scene and Ghetto areas. When the crew, consisting of Bai-D, Origi-E & Rune Rask, released their debut album “Suspekt” in 1999 the crew became an instant success in the underground hip-hop scene across Denmark.

The culture and the backdrop of which SUSPEKT originates play an important part of the crew’s provocative and reflective enactment of everyday life suppression and harsh reality, which shines through their candid lyrics.

SUSPEKT is known for their intense, dark and provocative style that sometimes has been described as horrorcore and has yet been able to be innovative and stay on-top of the Danish hip-hop scene for more than 10 years!
